It was inevitable--she needed groceries and dog food--but it didn't make it any more fun. The woman down-shifted, her green Ford Ranger purring as she came to a stop at a light. Her dutch shepherd, Khan, sat with her head stuck out the window, eagerly sniffing at the air. Crow reached over and ran her hand down the dog's brindle body. "Don't you get any ideas about jumping out now, ya hear?" Khan turned to look at her owner, tail thumping enthusiastically against the worn cloth seat. Crow chuckled. The light turned green and the woman let out the clutch and took off smoothly. She'd memorized the path she would need to take through town to hit all the stores she needed and avoid the majority of traffic. Even though this was a small town, and that one quality was the only reason she even bothered to come in from the country, there were still a surprising amount of cars and people during rush hour. A red sports car zipped around her, speeding off around the next turn. Crow shook her head. Any other day she would have waited until later in the day, or simply come earlier, that way she wouldn't have to deal with stupid drivers. It was her own fault she was here at this time today. She had sorely miscalculated the time she spent in the round pen training with the new mare. Khan barked at a chihuahua walking on the sidewalk beside a lady. "Oh, come off it, you fool. You can't eat rats, even if all they do is bark and bite." Khan slumped back into the seat, facing forward with what could have been taken as disappoint. Crow just smiled. The truck pulled into their first stop: the pet store. Crow shut off the engine and looked over at her shepherd. Khan wagged her tail in excitement. "I know you don't need it, but ya gotta wear your leash while we're in here. You know that." Crow reached down into the floor board and grabbed the black nylon leash, clipping it to the choke-chain beneath Khan's collar. She opened her door and stepped out. "Come on, pup." The dog jumped down beside her and immediately set to sniffing the ground. Crow reached into the truck and grabbed her wallet and cell phone, stuffing the former in her right butt pocket, and the latter in her left, of her blue jeans. She adjusted her light grey t-shirt and shut the truck door. "Let's find you some good eats." The pair started toward the store. | [atrb=style,width:140px; background-color:#333333; vertical-align:top; padding:5px; font-family:arial narrow; text-align:center;] WORD COUNT 0442 LYRiCS Wild Horses Natasha Bedingfield AVAiLABiLiTY open MiSC. i've no idea where this table came from, i just really wanted to see if i could mod it to fit Crow :P if i'm not supposed to use it, please tell me <3 ORIGINAL TABLE BY TEQUILA!
