Karrl Draven Garm / Seventeen /Taylor Kitsct
Name: ::- Carlos Draven Marinio Alexander Garm -::
Nicknames: ::- Karrl -::
Age: ::- 17 -::
Apparent Age: ::- Early 20s -::
Group: ::- High School Student -::
Family: Isabella Garm (Mother) (Died: 20) Wayne Garm (Father) (47) Jason Garm (Uncle) (33) Jessica Garm (Aunty) (35) Kevin Garm (Younger Cousin) (15)
Special Training: Karrl has a number of skill to his name, the first of them is his ten years of experience when it comes to Muay Tai and seven years in Judo, this means he is skilled in close combat being able to use his fists, feet, elbows and knees effectively as well as grappling and throwing moves. He is also multi lingual, able to knees effectively. He is also multi lingual, able to speak, German, French and Spanish. Karrl has also got an A Level standard of education. Finally he has an above average understanding of both bikes and cars, due to his father.
Strengths: Due to his background as well as his training he had above physical stats. He is strong, fast and agile. He's smart, not amazingly so but he is more then a pretty face. He has also got high intuition and can usually tell if someone is trying to pull a fast one. He is also very good with the ladies and some of his mates have dubbed him the Casanova of Southall. Even though he is not trained in anyway he is actually a very good singer, most people are actually surprised when he does sing a tune, because his notoriety as a fighter is sometimes all people can see.
Weaknesses: His main weakness if his family, well his father, and hair friends. He would do anything to protect them and if someone found that out he would be putty in their hands if and when they chose to exploit this fact. Even though his charms are a strength the ladies are another weakness of his, unless they are actually trying to hurt or kill him he would never raise a hand against one of the fairer sex, and even if they are trying to hurt him he will still have trouble to fight them. His arrogance is another weakness of his. He will always try to do things solo and finds it very hard to ask for help even if it is clear to him that he needs it. If he does ask for help it is clear he's in trouble.
Personality: This young man is a complicated one By most standards he is quite laid back, and will not give a second thought to just chilling under a tree somewhere with his guitar and a note pad tree somewhere with his guitar and a note pad.
But there is also another side to him, and this side can come out in the most random of situations, two words, Adrenalin Junky. But there is also another side to him, and this side But there is also another side to him, and this side can come out in the most random of situations, two words, Adrenalin Junky. He loves the thrill of doing something daring to the borderline point of crazy. He has been asked on a number of occasions, after doing some of these things, if he had a death wish, and his response was always the same, what’s the point in living without taking a few risks.
That pretty much sums up Karrl, but there is a third side to him which will come out now and again. The third side he has is the side of a philosopher When the mood takes him he can be a very deep and meaningful person, and when the time is right he might come out with a saying or two which would make most people stop to think about it. To put it simply, and in words Karrl has said before he can go from a scatterbrain to a philosopher in philosopher in 0.5 seconds.
History: Before he was even born his life was complicated, his parents moved to an Indian and Somailian controlled area, when they were not even of either heritage. His mother was half Italian and half Spanish, whilst his father was half German and half English. So even before the spark of life in his was made he was going to have it rough.
He was born, and spent a good part of his life in a place called Southall, a small, but extremely rough area of Middlesex, London. His mother died giving birth to him, so he never knew her, and when he asked his father about her he rarely gave a straight answer.
His father supported them both, on his job as a motor mechanic, and Karrl pretty much grew up around engines, and because of this he learnt how to fix and build them. He was never as good as his father, but Karrl still knows his way around the bonnet of a car. At the age of thirteen he began to work for his father dealing with things, and learning more and more about bikes and cars.
Growing up he spoke English as his first language, but because of his father growing up in Saarlouis, Saarland, Germany, he also speaks German. He did not use it outside of his family home, but he was and still is fluent in the Germanic Tongue.
He went to Primary School in Southall in the RC (Roman Catholic) School of Saint Anselm’s. Because of his mixed heritage he was bullied from the get go. He tolerated this, because it was simple name calling, and as the old saying goes, sticks and stones may break bone but words will never hurt.
But that soon changed when he hit seven. Two years into Primary School and the name calling turn to regular beatings from the older students. When his father found out, he told his son he would be sending him to learn martial arts, to help defend himself, but Karrl got to pick. After a lot of thought he picked Muay Thai.
He learnt quickly, but did not use it unless he had to defend himself, as his master taught him. But because of this not many of the students would pick fights with him anymore and by his last year of Primary School the bullying stopped altogether. Which was a relief for Karrl, but he still continued with Muay Thai, simply because he loved it so.
When he was eleven and was old enough, by English Educational rules, to join Secondary School he went to a place called Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School. He got in because of his good grades, plus the fact his father was a constant help at Saint Anselm’s Church, which more than likely contributed just as much as Karrl’s grades. It was also at this time that he decided to pick up another martial art, Judo.
The first two years were actually quite nice, since the fact his heritage did not come into play here, since The Vaughan, as it is called, is in Holland Park, and not Southall. He gained a few friends in those years, and they enjoyed playing together. Karrl kept up with his good grades, and was learning quite a few new languages, including, French and Spanish. He also started to learn how to play the guitar because of his music classes.
At the age of thirteen he had started to date a girl and he was fourteen when they took their relationship to the next level. It seemed like it was going very well and Karrl believed that he was in love with this girl, this Rebecca Greaves. A month or two after something happened, she was taken out of the Vaughn and without a word she left, she didn’t even leave him a letter. After trying time and time again to find a way to contact her he finally gave up. Not even to this day does Karrl know the reason why she was taken out of the school. That reason was Rebecca was pregnant with Karrl’s child, who is now three.
At fourteen with seven years of Muay Tai experience and four years of Judo under his belt he decided to try his hand at something, he entered the British under 18 Mix Martial Artist Tournament, and he actually won. He did this one more time at the age of 15 but lost, at the age of 16 he tried one more time and won for the second time. At the age of 17 he entered the European championships and won that, but he did not enter another one since he was too old for it the next year along.
Sixteen and he had finished his GCSEs, all eight of them in fact, taking, German, French, Spanish, Mathematics, English, Information Communication Technology, Modular Science and Music. He was finished for the year and was getting ready to go on to Six Form, which is the next stage of learning when a student hits sixteen.
For his graduation present his father bought him a nice 150cc bike, since he had also passed his test. His summer holidays were spent either riding his bike or working in his father’s garage. There was nothing special about that, but he loved it none the less, even though from time to time he did wonder about Rebecca.
However the next event that was to happen would change, but his and his father’s life. He was on his way home from work, since he had been working in his father’s garage for that last year, when he had bumped into an old “acquaintance”. One thing led to another and they fought. The thing was, they had been rivals back in high school, and the guy had always tried to best him in a fight. The thing was the guy had never bested him. The guy had lost all of his reputation as the school’s hard man, and he kind of had not let it go. They were fighting, and, as usual Karrl was winning, but the guy pulled out a knife. The guy slashed him and Karrl lost it. He knocked the knife out of his hand and beat him to death.
Once he had cooled down he had realised what he had done. He did the only thing he could, he rushed to his father and told him what he had done. His father, being both levelled headed and a quick thinker, told him what he was going to do. They had some relatives in a place called Hollow Falls and he would stay with them, finish his education and continue to stay there until he was sure that things were cool.
So, he packed his bag and took the first flight out. When he was there he was enrolled at the local High School, even though he did not like it Karrl knew he had to be eighteen to graduate. So, there he was, with his uncle and Aunty, but will the others ever know what had happened that fateful night.
