London, England. 2012. The quiet roar of a zeppelin can be heard overhead..
wait, what? The world has somehow changed yet there was no catastrophic
event or any global marvel - humanity just woke up one morn and the world
was different. Except that it wasn't.
Histories have been seamlessly altered; coincidences accounted for with
no one the wiser. Tragedies and times of war that have been long forgotten
are coming to re-emergence; for if you look closely at the night sky, a
brilliant new light is shining from the Kasterborous constellation. A ruined
tower stands unscathed in Canary Wharf and the bustle of activity
around the supernatural has sparked anew.
Mysterious disappearances are baffling New Scotland Yard - people are just
vanishing at an alarming rate. Not just, 'I'm popping out for a bit' kind of
disappearing.. but never existing at all. People are finding that they can't
remember their mother or their son, even though the evidence of
their existence is abundant.
All the while, a genius solves the most baffling of mysteries as a mad man
with a blue box hurtles through space-time. Frightening happenstances
are ripping the universe asunder and the fabric of reality is rapidly fraying.
